Funny short story for children

Once upon a time there lived a patient camel and a cunning fox together in a large forest. On the other side of the river that flowed beside that forest, there were fields with lots of greens and fruit trees.

One day the cunning fox came to the patient camel with a plan to cross the river and enjoy eating the vegetables and fruits in those fields. Since the fox did not know how to swim, he asked the camel to carry him on his back and they crossed the river together.

The patient camel agreed to the fox's request. They set out for the river and soon reached the other bank of the river. After the camel carried the fox on his back and they crossed the river. Upon reaching the other side, they started eating delicious vegetables and fruits.

The fox quickly became satisfied and wanted to leave, but the camel was still hungry, so he asked the fox to wait a little while until he was satisfied.

But the cunning fox resorted to cunning and deception and began screaming loudly. The camel asked him not to do that so that the farmers would not notice them, but the fox said that he had a habit of howling after eating.

The howling of the fox attracted the attention of the farmers. They all arrived at the place with long sticks. The fox quickly disappeared into the fields among the trees, but the camel was severely beaten and endured it with patience.

After the farmers left, the camel and the fox had to cross the river to the other side again to return. So the fox asked the camel to carry him on his back across the river again.

The camel agreed to this, despite the treachery he was exposed to, because he wanted revenge on the fox. When the camel reached the middle of the water, it started rolling in the water. The fox told him not to do that. But the camel said that it was his habit to do that after eating.

As a result, the fox slipped off the camel's back and fell into deep water, and the river swept him away. He almost drowned had it not clung to a large rock in the middle of the river, so he remained stuck there in the middle of the water without finding anyone to save him. The fox was rightly punished for his cunning, sinfulness, treachery, and selfishness.

The moral of the story

Beware of the evil of the one to whom you have done good, for as you sow, so shall you reap, and as you lend credit, you will be judged. God Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an (that whoever does an evil deed will not be rewarded except the like of it)
